Sportstv is a sports television channel from Turkey, which is owned and operated by the Sportsnet Group. It was previously known as D Spor and owned by the Doğan Yayın Holding, but that changed on July 1, 2010, when the channel was renamed to Sportstv. Over the years, Sportstv has made a name for itself with a number of disciplines being aired on this channel. The network’s sports coverage has included both domestic and international tournaments to give fans adequate sports entertainment. Some of the sports aired by this channel as time has gone by have included basketball, tennis, volleyball, ice hockey, rugby, equestrian competitions, motorsports, and athletics. Sportstv was initially launched as a Standard Definition channel, but a High-Definition feed was launched on February 14, 2012. While both feeds may still be available in some regions, users might find it easier to watch the channel’s content in HD.
